DAY 17 Major Breakthrough
Monday night 8 o'clock hour mom grabbed my arm and deeply communicated to me that she has hit bottom and is coming up. I have been asking her to give me a sign when she can and tonight she was abundantly clear and directed me that the shot is working and unlocking her from the inside. So much she held me and told me so as to make sure I clearly understood her plight. It was exciting and scary at the same time as for the first time in over a year I felt the tone from my mother that is patently her and only her. Freaky!

"Hi Baby"
Today was great. One of my favorite things my mom use to say is "hi baby".
At lunch today she managed to say "hi baby".
I noticed another small improvement. Before taking the shot she could not pucker her lips together to give me a kiss. Now she can pucker up for kissing :)

2 Weeks Into Enbrel Treatment
2 Weeks Into Enbrel Treatment.
Mom has continued to improve in very subtle and small ways.
After each shot I notice serious reduction in foot 'shuffling'.
'Shuffling' is replaced by taking 'baby steps' and nearly regular walking.
Some small words are spoken from time to time as well as periodic times of feeding herself during some meals.
Once very subtle difference that demonstrates a change is when she goes to the bathroom she has enough awareness to pull her diaper down before using the bathroom. Before the shot she just sits on the toilet with her diaper on and is not aware that the diaper is not pulled down.
This is a very good demonstration of some sort of awareness / change.
